🌿✨ Little Forest Fairy 🕷️💚
This beautiful little one is the offspring of Anais and Dom, and if you've never owned a Phidippus otiosus Jumping Spider, you're in for such a treat. They are super outgoing and always ready to come out and play. Not shy at all. 💚
Currently i6, this little Northern P otiosus has been doing wonderfully and has a great appetite. They happily eat mealworms but definitely prefer flies, and would likely enjoy crickets as well (I just don't feed crickets).
These are unfortunately much more difficult to sex than Regals and they're impossible to accurately sex until they're subadults, and sometimes not even until adults, so this little one is being offered as unsexed. 🕷️
One of my absolute favorite things about this species is how incredibly beautiful they are. They have such beautiful little faces with the longest eyelashes, and their abdomens shimmer with the most gorgeous green iridescence when the light hits them just right. It's one of those things that's even more breathtaking in person than it is in photos. ✨💚
They're also such fun little jumpers! I always think they look like tiny forest fairies as they gracefully hop from place to place. They're incredibly agile, curious, and always seem to be exploring their surroundings, making them such entertaining little companions. 🌿🧚
This little one still has plenty of growing left to do, and it's going to be so much fun watching their colors continue to develop with each molt. If you've been thinking about adding a Phidippus otiosus to your family, I think you'll absolutely love this species. They're beautiful, full of personality, and always seem to bring a little bit of magic wherever they go. 💚🕷️✨

Pictures are taken under bright white lighting to capture detail and true coloration as accurately as possible. Depending on your home lighting, spiders (especially white or lighter-colored individuals) may appear slightly darker due to how their light hairs reflect light.
We also use macro lenses for close-up detail, which can make spiders appear larger in photos than they are in real life.
